We have a TREAT for you this month, particularly if your kids like reading, or you are trying to encourage them to discover the joy of it at an early age. We have 100 (yes a hundred) codes for a three month free trial of the Apple reading app, eBookadabra for you.
The app is designed for 3 to 7 year olds, offering a “one-stop” solution for children’s reading.
The app allows kids to read hundreds of books from leading publishers such as Disney and Harper Collins.
Reading then incentivises children by helping them to unlock educational puzzles, games, collectable stickers and much more.
Although Ebookadabra is only just launching, the platform already has a wide variety of features on it such as:
- The ability for parents to record themselves reading the stories that their children are looking at
- A safe and secure messaging system that allows a child to talk to their parents about the progress they are making in app.
- An innovative visual search engine designed for kids that lets the use visual search terms to explore our library of books.
- The ability to save stories to your in-app library so you can enjoy them on the go.
All of this is available for less than the price of a book a month; £5.99 along with a 30 day free trial. But we are letting you have THREE MONTHS for free!
Ebookadabra also makes this experience for a child easier as there is now no need for you to lug around 100’s of books. It is cheaper too, as it offers the whole experience for less than the price of a single book a month.
Over the coming months eBookadabra will be adding hundreds of new books along with other new features. Why not sign up, and you can be in on the fun!
We will pick the first 100, and send on an email with the details for downloading the app; good luck everyone!
Talk to Mums want to hear from YOU! We have been busy in the background beavering away, trying to make sure we are offering the right services to you, as mums.
In order to do this, we would LOVE if you can help us by answering a survey on how often you get free samples, and what effect receiving them has on you. Do you remember them? Do you go on to chat about them to friends, family, or the dog? Finally, when you get a sample, does it make you actually want to go on and buy that product, particularly if you haven’t heard of the brand before.
The BEST thing about the help we want, is that if you do answer this survey, you will a) get added to our mailing list, so you hear about the samples from the brands we work with and b) get added to the random prize draw to win £200 in shopping vouchers from your choice of Asda, Tesco, Sainsbury and Morrisons. The closing date for the giveaway is 15 March 2017 at 11.59pm; so don’t miss out.
We will want to make sure that we offer you, as mums, the sampling that you want, and we are really keen to understand your experiences so far so that we can help brands reach as many of you as possible.
Do feel free to contact us too with ideas around sampling; we are always open to thoughts from our audience, as we really do believe that mums are the heroes.
Good luck with the giveaway, and we’ll be back with an exciting free offer for a new mobile app on the blog next week, so do come back and check it out.
We have the lovely, Corri, on the site today. She is showing us why she is a hero to her family with the second of our Mum Hero stories. Corri Rodgers recently set up her own business, Trees, Bees and Marshmallows, to help enable her to stay at home with her children, but also to help those who want to look after their kid’s (and their skin) naturally.
We have an AMAZING prize for you all on the blog today from the wonderful brand that is Microscooters. Everyone we know has had a scooter for their kids, but there really is nothing to compare with a Microscooter. Both my children have had them, and there is nothing to rival their sturdiness, flexibility and reliability.
Even better, they are now available for children from vertually as soon as they can walk, thanks to the product we are giving away, the 3 in 1 Mini Micro Deluxe. The wonderful thing about these scooters is that they grow with your child:
- 12 months – they are a ride on,
- 18 months – they transform into a toddler scooter, and
- 2 years – if they are ready, then they transform into a microscooter ready for them to take on the scooting world!
